Kgalagadi

A very tame Spike Heeled Lark at
Kamqua Picnic site
Kori Bustard walked sedately when foraging, they are the
heaviest flying bird in the world.
Our trip to Kgalagadi and Namibia was very special, to discover new areas, new birds and new habitats was exciting.  Here are some photos that I took in Kgalagadi.

Secretary bird stride through the grasslands looking for prey which include
grasshoppers, lizards, snakes and small rodents

Lanner Falcon which we watched at a water hole, hunting
Red Headed Finch,

Yellow Billed Hornbill yawning whilst watching
us eat lunch at camp site.

All things bright and beautiful, Cape Glossy Starling

Cape Crow trying to drink water from a picnic table
we also saw Sociable Weaver drinking like this
